Will the tire changer work on Tubed Tires?
Yes, With some care and maybe the use of spoons and rim protectors, as most manual machines will act about the same. We recommend a little less air in the tube than the small amount you would normally put in to prevent snags in tube. Our Mount/Demount Bar has rounded tips as opposed to the sharper edges most others have. this should lessen the chance of tube damage. Just watch out for pinched tubes between tire and rim. Just like usual. Also, Position valve stem at 1:00 on the machine frame to avoid M/D Bar from interfering. Bead should finish seating before bar gets to 1:00.
