The yellow thing hits the rotors on my FJR, so I haven't been able to use it. I either need to grind part of the handle away or make the handle shorter. Then it should work fine. REPLY: THE entire thing is rubber coated so that it will not damage your rotor if it rubs it. Don't worry about it. It won't hurt anything. Be sure to relieve the tire before you insert the tool. It will last much longer if you are not sliding it into place, rather, just hooking it where you want it. It will wear out faster if it is used to install the tire by itself as we have had a few people try. Not recommended! Relieve the tire before you remove it. (There is not a lifetime warranty on this item) ~Jim
